Assistant Principal
Mrs. Amy Goff

I am thrilled to begin the 2026-2027 school year as a Bobcat! I hope you are all looking forward to a new year filled with learning, friendship, and fun. It has been a pleasure meeting some of you and learning about the Sonoran Foothills community.
This year marks my twenty-first year in education. Before joining Sonoran Foothills, I taught fifth through seventh grade at Madison Meadows and spent nine years in district-level leadership at Scottsdale Unified School District, where I served in Human Resources. I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education from Arizona State University and a Master’s degree in Education from Northern Arizona University.
Throughout my career, I have participated in strategic planning, curriculum mapping, and school improvement. I have led professional development at both the school and district levels, with a focus on data-driven instruction, evaluation practices, and employee relations. Additionally, I led the district’s Performance Pay Committee and designed a mentoring program for classified staff.
On a personal note, I have a wonderful husband who is also an educator, and I am a proud mom and stepmom to four children: Miles (17), Henry (14), Charlie (9), and Alice (4). In my free time, I enjoy working out, reading, watching reality TV, and spending time with my family.
My passion lies in supporting students' academic and social-emotional growth. I look forward to getting to know our school community better and contributing to a positive, supportive environment. I cannot wait to meet our students and help create a positive, safe, and memorable learning experience this year.
