Welcome to Mrs. Kerich's Class!

Welcome! I am so excited to have your child in my class this year. I wanted to share a little about myself so you can get to know me.

I graduated from Arizona State University with a Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education and Special Education. I am highly qualified in English Language Arts and am proud to be a National Board Certified Teacher. This year marks my 20th in education, and I have had the privilege of teaching at Sonoran Foothills since the school first opened.

I am the proud mom of two incredible children, Jameson and Lila, who keep me busy and constantly remind me to find joy in the little things. I also have two lovable Golden Retrievers, Hank and Holly, who are a big part of our family. I love coffee, Diet Coke, anything caramel, and spending time outdoors with my family. Most of all, I love helping students discover their strengths and grow into confident, successful learners.

In our classroom, every student will be challenged, supported, and celebrated. I believe all students are capable of making meaningful growth, and I strive to create a classroom where learning is engaging, encouraging, and fun. My goal is to help every student build confidence, develop independence, and reach their fullest potential—both academically and personally.

I believe that the strongest student success comes from a partnership between school and home. Open communication is incredibly important to me, and I encourage you to reach out anytime you have questions, concerns, or simply want to celebrate your child's successes. We are on the same team, and I am committed to working alongside you to ensure your child has an amazing year.
