Ms. Hall - Music/Choir

Hello! My name is Ms. Hall, and I am the general music teacher and choir director here at Sonoran Foothills. Music is such a strong passion of mine and I love helping students find what they are passionate about and use music to express themselves and grow as individuals! 

In our class, we will explore many avenues of music creating through movement, instruments and singing. We will incorporate many subjects and areas of learning as music encompasses so many different things. We will learn music theory, history, genres and much more this year in every grade level. I am big on student interaction and group activity as music is a lot of working together. In my classroom we utilize QuaverEd's Music Curriculum as well as Orff and Kodaly techniques. 

When I am not teaching, I love to stay involved with music! I am always listening to music when I am doing other tasks, but I also like to write music and play music with others. I am involved with the praise and worship team at my church, currently play in a band with School of Rock and I love to play piano and guitar on my own to write my own music. I also love to read, bake, travel and spend time with my amazing nieces and nephew.
