I am an Arizona native. I spent the first part of my adult life working in law as a legal assistant and later as a staff supervisor. I have now been teaching for 12 years, the last five of which was as a 7th grade social studies teacher.
My personal interests are animals of all kinds, movies, reading, and traveling. Exploring different cultures is my passion. I have a son and two step-daughters as well as six step-grandchildren. I have 3 dogs: Rusty, Max, and Vinny. As well as 3 cats: Tucker, Phil, and Ziggy. I live on almost two acres and spend most of my free time maintaining that.
I absolutely love children and am excited to be teaching 8th grade social studies. I look forward to exploring our constitution and founding documents, as well as citizens’ rights and responsibilities. Fostering a comfortable culture where every student feels valued and safe to be heard is a main priority of mine. Thank you for sharing your precious child with me. Can’t wait!!
